For this 30th anniversary, all the people who had moved to Diagora Labège have left with the TOP Economique Occitanie 2018, as every year, more a surprise : an Helicium glass invented by Arnaud Baratte with the signature 30e TOP Economique Occitanie affixed delicately on glass .

This is a deceptive glass ! During tasting, aromas delicately reveal themselves in the mouth with extreme finesse. The glass is elegant and functional. The different heights of the blades are calibrated in such a way as to give the professional precise references when measuring wine into the glasses... An ingenious idea and very practical ! During a tasting session I used a classic champagne flute and a Helicium sparkling wine glass: the result is amazing ! Helicium adds real value to its contents...

Helicium is an innovative idea, interesting and relevant which I like very much. It is a tool you should not ignore when wine tasting: it speeds up the oxygenation of the wine from the moment it is uncorked and in particular it provides a real vision of what a young wine will become... It is a fantastic idea, a daring, worthwhile approach and just needs to be put to the test !
